Salem High schedules open house for public

SALEM — Find out all there is to know about Salem High School on Wednesday night.

The public is invited to an open house from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the school, 77 Willson St.

The event is geared toward families with children in elementary or middle school who are considering Salem High School, principal David Angeramo said.

SHS teachers and students will lead tours of the building, answer questions and talk about programs and offerings, from music and drama to science labs and vocational programs. Salem High offers five foreign languages and 17 Advanced Placement (AP) courses, Angeramo said.

“We want to make sure they see everything, get the info they need to make their decision about what’s the best fit for them,” Angeramo said. “We’re proud to be Salem’s main public high school.”
