A 5:59 p.m. report of a father-daughter argument brought police to 6 Radcliff Road, where they arrested Vanessa M. Grande, 22, of the same address, on a charge of domestic assault and battery. She was also wanted on a warrant.
Police responded to Hilltop Drive after a 9:57 p.m. report of an argument and arrested Ryan J. Belanger, 30, homeless, on charges of domestic assault and battery and trespassing.
Police received a 10:25 a.m. report of an argument on a train at Dodge and Enon streets. Police wrote later: “Separated parties on different coaches, agreeable with conductors. Peace restored over verbal argument.”
Police conducted a traffic stop at Goat Hill Lane and Summit Avenue at 2:10 p.m. and arrested Michael E. Agnew, 60, of 68 Dane St., Beverly, on a charge of operating a vehicle with a suspended license, subsequent offense.
Kevin McCaffrey, 38, of North Andover was arrested on charges of failure to stop and operating with a revoked license, subsequent offense, during a traffic stop at 2:36 a.m.
A woman reported to police that she was “attacked by two parties” at 4:14 p.m. outside Nordstrom’s at Northshore Mall, 201 Andover St. Police checked with surrounding companies for camera footage.
A caller reported to police that a cat was injured in the road on Goodale Street at 11:22 a.m. The cat was brought to Borash Animal Hospital, according to the log report.
A 20-year-old will be summonsed to court for unlawful possession of a firearm after a report of gunshots being heard at 29 Buxton Lane at 2:55 p.m. A caller reported that “a friend of his called and stated that a neighbor was shooting a handgun,” according to the log report.
A report of gunshots near Cedar Grove Cemetery, 70 Cedar Grove Ave., at 5:07 p.m was determined by an officer to be “kids lighting off fireworks,” according to the log entry.
