Michael A. Gentile, 23, of Brighton was arrested on a charge of malicious destruction of property over $250 at 1:40 a.m. at 7 Gardner St.,

Roy P. Wellington, 37, and Robert J. Swain, 49, both of 116 Bridge St., Salem, were arrested on charges on disturbing the peace after police responded to a loud party at Lemon Street. Both were also issued a $100 citation for city noise violations.

Sean Meninger, 31, 15 Putnam St., Salem, was arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery, assault by dangerous weapon, warrant from drunken driving and two counts intimidation of a witness, according to a 12:36 p.m. log item.

Kristen M. Bell, 32, of Lynn was arrested on charges of shoplifting by concealment for the fifth subsequent time from Market Basket on Highland Avenue. She was caught by the manager putting items into her purse, according to a 5:05 p.m. report.

Michael R. Douglas, 27, homeless, was arrested on a charge of trespassing at 19 Rainbow Terrace at 5:41 p.m.

Albert G. Rizzo, 45, 72 Butler St., Salem, was arrested on a charge of domestic assault and battery at 1:42 a.m.

Police responded to 120 Canal St. on a report of “someone on the roof” at 1:45 a.m. Louis M. Pizzigoni, 26, Locust Street, Danvers, was arrested on a charge of trespassing. Pizzigoni was observed on the roof and was found to be intoxicated, according to police.

It was reported to police that five kids were seen breaking pumpkins on Elwin Street at 8:53 p.m. and went toward 46 Windsor Ave. Another report of five teens smashing pumpkins was reported at 11:22 p.m. on Stetson Avenue.
