Young women who are residents of Salem, graduating from high school and continuing on to college, are welcome to apply for the Anonymous Scholarship, which is awarded based upon a combination of financial need and academic performance. The award can be renewed annually if the student maintains a primary residence in Salem during her four-year pursuit of an undergraduate degree. The application deadline is Thursday, May 1. Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous is a free, 12-step recovery program for anyone suffering from food obsession, overeating, undereating or bulimia.
