The Friendly Garden Club of Beverly will award a scholarship to high school seniors from Beverly who are pursuing a college career in environmental science, horticulture, botany, floral design, landscape design, conservation or related fields for the 2014-2015 academic year. The Josh Thibodeau Helping Hearts Foundation presents a free heart screening for youths ages 12 to 19 tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at Nathaniel Bowditch School, 79 Willson St., Salem. The screening consists of a review of health history; height and weight; blood pressure check; heart sounds check; electrocardiogram; possible echocardiogram; and physician consult. The JTHHF was created in memory of Josh Thibodeau who, in 2011, was 12 years old when he suffered a sudden cardiac arrest and died at a soccer camp.
