A woman on Farragut Road reported at 1:36 p.m. that her husband had forged her signature on her state and federal tax returns and had taken a refund check.
Police received a 9:19 p.m. report that a man had seen a kid “getting dragged into car” near 45 Salem St. “Unsure if anything was wrong or that the child was acting up,” wrote police, who didn’t report finding anything suspicious after investigating the incident.
A 66-year-old man on Front Street was hospitalized after a 9:42 a.m. report that he was drunk and “not eating.”
Police received a 3:03 p.m. report that a woman had stolen about $100 worth of baby formula from the Shaw’s Supermarket at the Northshore Mall.
A woman on Crane Brook Way reported at 10:15 p.m. that her 37-year-old husband had been missing since Sunday.
A 6:40 a.m. report of an “unruly customer” brought police to the Dunkin’ Donuts at 672 Lowell St. Police wrote later: “Officer reports the two females causing a disturbance left prior to officer’s arrival. All in order.”
Police received a 6:55 a.m. call from an apartment at 50 Warren St.: “Party was speaking with slurred speech, unable to identify problem.” After investigating further, police wrote: “Party was just lonely and wanted to talk with someone.”
Police and the Fire Department responded to a report of an accident at Apple Hill Road and Lowell Street about 2 p.m. The accident ended up involving seven vehicles, and several people were subsequently transported to an undisclosed hospital by ambulance, according to Sgt. Robert Waugh. Police were unable to provide further details last night, other than to say the injuries were not believed to be serious.
A 6:13 p.m. report of an accident at Canal and Mill streets resulted in the arrest of Jamie Macario, 20, of 281 Essex St., Lynn, on charges of operating a motor vehicle without a license and failure to yield. No injuries were reported.
