Police: Beverly bank robbed

BEVERLY — Beverly police arrested one suspect yesterday afternoon after a reported robbery at the Citizens Bank inside Stop & Shop on Elliott Street.

The incident was first reported at 3:30 p.m., according to a press log entry, and six officers responded to the scene. Last night, police could only confirm there was a robbery and an arrest was made.
