Thursday

A resident at 4 Wiseman Drive reported at 4:17 p.m. that a man who was wearing no shirt and was with a small child was trying to break into his car and house. Police responded and arrested Scott W. Bridge, 29, of 22 Buxton Lane, Peabody. Bridge was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, two counts of attempt to commit a crime, and assault and battery on ambulance personnel. Police notified the state Department of Children and Families about the child.

Police said they will summon a Saugus woman on charges of driving with a suspended license.

A male was taken to the hospital after falling off his bicycle on Howley Street at around 6:30 p.m.

A 6-year-old boy who was reported missing at 7:10 p.m. was found by police on Downing Road and reunited with his family.

Police received a report of a person slumped over the wheel in a white pickup truck at the Luso-American Credit Union on Tremont Street. Police said the man was checking his email and was fine.

Police said they will summon a Peabody man on charges of driving while not being duly licensed.

A caller reported hearing three loud explosions at 10:24 p.m. in the area of Jubilee Drive. An officer checked the area and could not locate the source of the explosions.

A YMCA employee told police at 9:54 a.m. that a dog had been left in a car with the windows up. Police spoke to the vehicle’s owner.

A Peterson Road resident complained to police that two foxes were living on his property. Police told him to call Mass Wildlife.

Police received a report of a German shepherd puppy locked in a crate inside a motor vehicle outside Nordstrom at the Northshore Mall.

A caller told police that his dog was attacked by two boxers in the area of Reed Road and that the dogs were on the loose. The animal control officer issued a $100 citation and a quarantine order to the dogs’ owner, Adam Zdanwich of 31 Trask Road, Peabody. Police said it was the third incident in the last month involving the dogs.
