Clarification

A story in Friday’s edition, “Carr won’t run for re-election,” requires a clarification. Residents who want to run for office in Salem have until 5 p.m. on July 26 to take out nomination papers, which must be returned to the city clerk with the required signatures by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30.
