Police dispersed approximately 100 Endicott students from a party at 4 Silver Court, according to a 12:18 a.m. report.

A 12:34 a.m. report of an unwanted person at 91 Herrick St. resulted in the arrest of Nicholas Meserve, 19, homeless, on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. He was also the subject of two Salem warrants.

A report that somebody had stolen 15 cans of baby formula and diapers brought police to a store at 224 Elliott St. at 12:31 p.m.



An officer on patrol at the Forest River Park was approached at 6:07 p.m. by a woman who said “a Middle Eastern man asked her to help him with his daughter and pointed to a wooded area with rocks.” The woman reportedly “told the male no and walked away.” The officer searched the park and found the man, who explained his daughter had twisted her ankle and he had asked the woman for help in getting her to the car.

Police conducted a traffic stop at Bridge Street and the bypass road at 7:43 p.m. and arrested Kory Lance Almand, 29, of 26 Lafayette St., Portsmouth, N.H., on charges of illegal possession of a Class A substance and trafficking in cocaine. An officer said Almand was found to be in possession of 27 grams of cocaine.

A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a motor vehicle at Broadway and Charles Street, according to a 10:11 p.m. report. The driver told police she hadn’t seen the woman, who was reportedly wearing all black and was transported to Salem Hospital.


A 1:29 a.m. report of a man yelling at a woman on Derby Street resulted in the arrest of Craig Marciano, 26, of 37 Maple Ave., Woburn, on a charge of domestic assault and battery.

Police received a 2:15 p.m. report of attempted break-in at a residence on Andrew Street. “Victim reported she was in her bedroom napping when her dog started barking, she heard something at the window, and pulled the curtain to the side and saw a male party,” police wrote. “She stated she never saw his face, just two white hands pushing up the screen from the bottom.” The man reportedly fled toward Andrew Street. Nothing was taken in the incident.



A two-car accident on Elliott Street was reported at 7:36 p.m. No injuries were reported.


Police received a 4:44 p.m. report of a domestic dispute at 45 Purchase St.
