A Hawkes Street woman reported at 12:51 p.m. that her neighbor was stalking her and had been “watching her every move” while she sat outside her residence.


Police conducted a traffic stop at Pleasant and Rowland streets at 12:29 a.m. and arrested Daniel William Klein, 28, of 11 Foster St., Marblehead, on charges of drunken driving, second offense, and an equipment violation.



Police received a 4 p.m. report of a loose pit bull that was stopping people from leaving their residence at 12 Glenway Ave.

Police received a 8:44 p.m. report that a teenager dressed in a “Jason” costume on Emily Lane was “swinging a plastic knife at children.” Police checked the area but were unable to locate him.


A “loud animal in the street” was reported at 1:18 a.m. by a Rockdale Avenue caller.

The Fire Department used the Jaws of Life to extricate a trapped motorist after a two-car crash on Route 1 north just before 5 a.m. One person was transported to the hospital after complaining of neck pain; another refused treatment.

Police cited a driver for texting after conducting a traffic stop at 295 Lowell St. at 8:02 a.m.



Police responded to a 5:31 p.m. report of a man on School Street siphoning gas from a vehicle. “Registered owner got bad gas,” police wrote. “Attempting to fix issue by draining his tank.”

An 8:32 p.m. report of a man hitting a woman brought police to 150 Rantoul St., where they arrested Juan Rodriguez, 25, of 37 Grant St., Beverly, on a charge of domestic assault and battery. Also arrested was Michael Rachmaciej, 29, of 7 Green St., Everett, on charges of disturbing the peace and carrying a dangerous weapon.

A Thorndike Street man reported at 9:34 p.m. that his vehicle was missing three lug nuts and that they “may have fallen off or were maliciously taken off.”
