A woman told police at 3:25 p.m. that she stopped at the Prime gas station on Lafayette Street last Friday. At some point, she says, she saw the attendant holding her ATM card and texting with his phone. On Saturday, her credit union called to warn the card number had been used in three transactions in India to the tune of $391.
Michael Oxton, 32, of 116 Collins St., Danvers, was arrested at 4:06 p.m. at a theater in the Liberty Tree Mall by Officer Peter Shabowich on a charge of trespassing. Police were called to the theater regarding a possible overdose. That person was later taken to Beverly Hospital.
Police investigated a break-in into a vehicle near Target at the Liberty Tree Mall at 6:29 p.m.
Stephen Bernstein, 20, of 13 S. Main St., Topsfield, was arrested at 10:24 p.m. on Interstate 95 north by Officer Scott Frost on charges of driving with a revoked license and having no inspection sticker.
Police reported email threats surrounding someone’s rent on West Street, as logged at 10:34 p.m.
Police responded with four officers and an ambulance to a 12:51 a.m. report of a large group of men fighting at West and Oak streets.
Joshua R. Corbett, 23, pf 100 Light St., Lynn, was arrested at 1:54 a.m. on Rantoul Street on a charge of disorderly conduct. Police, including Patrolmen David Grimes, Michael Bucci and Gary Little, had responded to a report of a “fight in street.”
Vandalism was cited over a front window and door smashed in on Cabot Street, as logged at 6:57 p.m. There was no break-in.
A woman was referred to Peabody police after telling Beverly officers about an ex-boyfriend’s past abuse in that city, as logged at 12:42 p.m.
