Monday

A caller from a real estate office on Atlantic Avenue reported at 9:03 a.m. that a husky man with silver hair and sweatpants was “making them nervous by walking back and forth.” Police determined the man had dropped his phone the night before and was looking for its battery.

Tuesday

A woman at Orne Street and Doaks Lane reported at 11:52 a.m. that contractors were working in the area and “ruining this good day.” Police were unable to locate them.

Beverly

Wednesday

Police received a 1:14 a.m. report of a loud stereo and banging at an apartment at 321 Cabot St.

A 2:37 a.m. report of a man looking into vehicles brought officers to Cabot and Pond streets, where they found no signs that any cars had been burglarized.

Police received a 9:54 a.m. report that a couple were arguing over who should take out the trash at 15 Tossa Terrace and arrested Atlee Greene, 61, of the same address, on a charge of assault and battery.

A light pole fell into the street at 295 Cabot St., according to a 1:45 p.m. report. Police contacted the DPW.

Peabody

Tuesday

An officer responded to a 2:04 p.m. report of a silver Jeep with flat tires that had been parked on Hancock Street “for two months” and determined that the vehicle was legally parked, properly registered and did not have any flat tires.

A 20-year-old Peabody man who was transported to Lahey Clinic after a 5:25 p.m. report of an overdose at 3 Ledgewood Way. He will be summonsed on a charge of possession of a Class A drug.

A man was evaluated by emergency personnel after a 9:26 p.m. report of “nail polish in his eyes” at CVS at 174 Main St. No further information was available.

Wednesday

Richard Zeuli, 41, of 12 St. Ann’s Ave., Peabody, was arrested on charges of drunken driving and a marked lanes violation after an accident at 52 County St. around 12:15 a.m. No injuries were reported.
