An employee at Sears at 210 Andover St. reported to police that a bag was stolen from a customer at 12:37 p.m. Police report that a briefcase and bag valued at $400 was taken from a rental vehicle.
At 1:12 p.m., a resident at 22 Olsen Road reported a package stolen from the front of the house.
Police responded to 154 Lafayette St. for a report of loud music at 12:16 a.m.
A burglary was reported at 1:14 p.m. at 95 Mason St.
At 8:36 p.m., police went to 8 Heritage Drive, Apt. 32, on a report that an unknown person threw a rock through the living room window. The rock was found, but police were unable to lift any prints, according to the log item.
Employees at the 99 Restaurant at 15 Bridge St. reported to police at midnight that a couple walked out without paying their $86.33 bill. The restaurant manager reported that there was no surveillance video of them sitting at the bar, but there might be footage of them at the front door.
Juan Carlos Gomez, 25, of 7 Oak St., Peabody, was arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery and nighttime break-in with intent to commit a crime at 10 Rice St.
At 12:59 p.m., a $350 pair of Bose headphones were reported stolen from a package on the front door of 23 Shore Ave.
Deborah Isaac, 46, of 114 Hale St., Beverly, was arrested on charges of shoplifting from Kohl’s at 50 Independence Way at 5:36 p.m.
A man yelling and screaming as he walked his dog was reported just before 7 p.m. After checking multiple locations in town, police caught up with him at The Landing. An officer reported that the man was now quiet and he was “venting earlier about constitutional rights and things on the news,” according to the log.
A man reported his car keyed on Harbor Avenue at 12:26 a.m.
