A delivery driver reported at 8:44 p.m. that a $200 iPod had been stolen from his running, unlocked vehicle as he made a delivery at 4 Washington St.
Police responded to an 11:53 p.m. report of a dispute at 34 Veterans Memorial Drive and determined that a child there “was not happy with the way her mother did her hair.”

An 18-year-old male was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital by ambulance with face and head injuries after a report of an altercation brought police to Peabody Veterans Memorial High School at 11:55 a.m. William Prince, 17, of 483 Lowell St., Peabody, was arrested on charges of disturbing the school and assault and battery. An officer said Prince and the victim were involved in a fistfight.
Police received a 5:30 p.m. report of a deer struck by a vehicle at Andover Street and Shawmut Avenue.
A 4:02 p.m. report of a disturbance brought police to 7 Franklin St., where they determined that there had been a domestic dispute between sisters-in-law.
A 4:23 p.m. report of a property dispute on Harbor Street resulted in the arrest of Jonathan Murphy, 24, homeless, on a charge of domestic assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon and malicious destruction of property.
Police received a 4:52 p.m. report that a man had walked out of Target at 227 Highland Ave. with a $399 laptop. The suspect was described as being white, about 6 feet tall, with brown hair.
