A woman reported at 9:48 p.m. that her 2010 Toyota Corolla was keyed while visiting inlaws on Farrell Court. She told police this was the second time this happened.
The front passenger side window of a 2008 Honda Accord was found smashed on Rockaway Avenue, according to a 1:47 a.m. report. Police found a bag taken from the car was recovered next door.
At 7:14 a.m. the sunroof on a 2010 Infinity M35X parked on Seaview Avenue was reported smashed and the glove box was missing and an iPod stolen.
A Garmin GPS was reported stolen from a 2012 Jeep Wrangler during a break-in on Chandler Street at 4:17 p.m.
Police were called to Lifebridge, 56 Bridge St., for a “undesirable female” at 4:38 p.m. and after a brief investigation arrested Eileen Conley-Cabrera, 48, of 56 Bridge St., on charges of resisting arrest and assault by a dangerous weapon (a lit cigarette). She also had two warrants out of Lynn District Court, according to the log report.
Police and fire responded to 2 Flint St. at 5:35 p.m. for a report of a kitchen on fire. When police arrived all the residents in three apartments were out of the building. A first floor resident told police she was cleaning her oven using the self-clean when it caught on fire. Firefighters removed the stove and residents on third floor were told to air out their apartment before returning, according to the log.
Stephen Allen Caisse, 20, of Lynn, was arrested on charges of violating the city’s knife ordinance after being placed into protective custody, according to a 11:05 p.m. report. Police were called to 300 Derby St. for a possible fight outside, found two men to be “extremely intoxicated and unable to care for themselves” and placed them into protective custody. While booking Caisse, police found a knife on him over 21/2 inches long, which is a city violation.
Randy T. Niswander, 24, of 28 Silver St., Salem, was arrested on charges of larceny after being caught by video surveillance stealing a purse and two jackets from the Moose Lodge, according to a 1:03 a.m. log item. Niswander was arrested at his girlfriend’s house on Grove Street.
Andy Soares, 20, of New Bedford, was arrested by Salem State University police at 1:58 a.m. for being a disorderly person and malicious destruction of property over $250. Soares was found to be destroying a sign and being loud and disruptive while intoxicated in front of the college’s police building, according to the report.
The backdoor of a dentist office at 260 Essex St. was reported spray painted overnight by vandals at 9:01 a.m.
Peter Vitello, 59, of 43 Hancock St., Salem, was arrested after being pulled over on his street on charges of operating after license suspension and a dirty (faded) license plate, according to 11:17 a.m. report.
Police arrested Miguel Villafane at 173 Lafayette St., Apt. 7, at 6:37 p.m. on a warrant from Salem District Court for domestic assault and battery and assault with a dangerous weapon. Villafane was combative at first until he saw police dog Turbo, according to the log.
A man reported to police at 1:03 p.m. that someone had shot eight BB pellets at the window to a business at 203 Washington St. The damage is estimated at $1,000 and there are no witnesses or suspects, according to the log item.
John W. Kozar, 40, of 24 Londonderry Road, Marblehead, was arrested at the Sonic restaurant, 55 Newbury St., at 1:04 a.m. on charges of drunken driving. Police reported that Kozar passed out in the drive-thru.
A license plate was reported stolen from a 2005 Ford Ranger at 75 Walnut St., according to a 10:45 a.m. report.
Two customers of Bonkers Fun House, 535 Lowell St., reported a camera, Nintendo DS and and iPod stolen at 6:31 p.m.
Kimberly A. Kaden, 50, of 12 Pope St., Salem, was arrested on charges of shoplifting by concealing over $100 at Stop & Shop, 19 Howley St., according to a 7:56 p.m. report.
Soney Matthews Jr., 33, of 7 McIntyre Court, Peabody, was arrested at 11:39 p.m. on charges of domestic assault and battery, intimidating a witness and threatening to commit a crime.
A caller reported his 2001 Yamaha motorcycle stolen at 16 Keys Drive at 1:23 p.m.
A possible break-in at 42 River St. was reported at 8:36 a.m. An air conditioning unit was missing, according to the report.
A report of intoxicated people yelling at 250 Rantoul St. was filed at 2:47 p.m.
A tire was reported slashed at 903 Manor Road at 2:55 p.m.
Brian Walsh, 38, of Boston, was arrested on charges of illegal possession of a class E substance and third offense of shoplifting by asportation at Walmart, 55 Brooksby Village Drive, according to the log.
A pedestrian struck by a car was reported at the Liberty Tree Mall at 6:42 p.m.
A young man fell through the ice on Johnson’s Pond around 4:40 p.m. and got lost in the woods before being found by Groveland police, according to Boxford police. A Boxford officer was sent to pick him up. Police did not know the man’s age.
