A Lindbergh Road man reported at 9:31 a.m. that he believed a snowplow driver had stolen his basketball hoop.

Police received a 9:14 p.m. report that two possibly intoxicated high school-age girls had fallen out of a white pickup truck on Bessom Street. Police were unable to locate them.

The Fire Department extinguished a small car fire on Knight Avenue, according to an 11:44 p.m. report. The vehicle was subsequently towed.

Sunday

A Ridge Road resident called 911 at 11:27 a.m. to ask “what day it was and then what time it was” after a power outage in the area reset clocks. Police wrote: “Confirmed that it was Sunday and the time of day.”

Police fielded a 12:51 p.m. report that a Carol Road resident had received a scam phone call saying “they were in trouble with the FBI.”

Police received a 1:23 p.m. report that kids were throwing water balloons in the area of Rantoul and School streets, but an officer was unable to locate them.

A 2:27 p.m. report of a young girl walking with a suitcase brought police to McKay Street and Colgate Road, where it was determined that she was heading home from a sleepover.

A man ran from the backyard area of 10 Atlantic Ave. after being confronted by a homeowner there around 6:10 p.m. “Nothing appeared to be vandalized or broken into at this time,” police wrote.

At 10:57 p.m., an officer on Cabot Street arrested Lauren House, 20, of 9 Day Ave., Danvers, on a charge of being a minor in possession of alcohol.

At 11:14 p.m., an officer on Cabot Street arrested Thomas Wagoner, 22, of 18 Hillcrest Road, Danvers, on charges of disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace.

A 68-year-old Danvers man was transported to Beverly Hospital after a 2:23 p.m. report that he had fallen and hit his head on a sidewalk at the Northshore Mall.
