Police received a 5:08 p.m. report that somebody had heard three gunshots on Pleasant Street, but an officer later called the report “unfounded.”

A 5:37 p.m. report of shoplifting at Sears at the Northshore Mall resulted in the arrest of Luis Roblero, 24, of 36 Oak St., Peabody, on a charge of shoplifting over $100.


A Coleman Street man reported at 9:09 a.m. that somebody had opened a cellphone account in his 4-year-old daughter’s name.

A 12:04 p.m. report of a disturbance between two men in a parking lot at 71 Wallis St. resulted in the arrest of Dennis Anthony Burke, 46, of 5 McIntire Court, Apt. 2, Peabody, on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Police responded to a 12:09 p.m. report that a chimney on Washington Street had fallen down and onto a fence. An officer determined that a second chimney “may be ready to come down,” too, and said the property owner was going to hire a contractor to secure it.



Police received an 8:05 p.m. report of a domestic dispute on Puritan Road over a husband’s affair. “She threw water at him and he grabbed her,” police wrote. “Female does not feel safe inside with her husband and was instructed to go outside to her vehicle and lock herself in until police arrive.” Police subsequently advised both people of their rights.

Police received a report of “Twitter account improprieties” and a “verbal confrontation at high school event” from a Phillips Beach Avenue caller at 11:09 p.m.

A 19-year-old woman on Priscilla Road was transported to Salem Hospital with possible alcohol poisoning after an 11:31 p.m. report that she was “in and out of consciousness.”


A vehicle on Beach Avenue had been broken into within the past hour, according to a 9:09 p.m. report.


Police received a 1:51 p.m. report that several people were arguing in a driveway at 13 Roy St., but police later called it “unfounded.”
