Police received a 3:28 p.m. report of a domestic disturbance at 11 Blaney Ave. and arrested Donald Kodes, 62, of the same address, on charges of domestic assault and battery and intimidation of a witness.
Five air conditioners were stolen from a garage at 5 Donegal Road, according to a 5:14 p.m. report. An officer said there was a suspect.
Police received a 6:04 p.m. report that about $300 in scrap copper had been stolen from a home at 9 Donegal Road.
A 2001 Honda Civic was stolen from the parking lot of Logan Express at 164 Newbury St., according to a 12:11 a.m. report.
A 33-year-old woman was transported to Union Hospital in Lynn with minor injuries after a 12:16 a.m. report of an accident at Lake and Winona streets.
A 9:30 a.m. report of a head-on collision between a GMC Sierra and a Toyota Scion brought police to 20 Sutton St. Both vehicles were towed, but there were no injuries, according to the log. Subsequently arrested was Philip Casavant, 34, of 33 Elm St., Leominster, on charges of driving under the influence of drugs, a marked lanes violation and operating a motor vehicle recklessly so as to endanger.
A woman at 154 Newbury St. reported a raccoon at her trailer at 11:06 a.m. An officer advised her to report nuisance wildlife to park management. “She then stated she has a set a trap for it. I made it clear that she would be responsible for the animal’s disposition and made her aware that it was illegal to relocate wildlife,” the officer wrote.
The state police conducted an air search for a stolen vehicle out of Amesbury around 8 p.m. A trooper said the car pulled into the Gaeta tow yard at 14 Newbury Turnpike and then its occupants — a man and a woman — fled on foot. They were both apprehended shortly thereafter. No further information was available.
