David A. Pereira, 31, of 70 Aborn St. Apt. 2 in Peabody, was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery, witness intimidation and violating an abuse prevention order at 2:55 p.m. on Aborn Street.
A resident reported that more than $3,000 in jewelry was missing from her mother's room at the Woodbridge Assisted Living Community on Lynnfield Street at 5:25 p.m.
The Gap reported that $1,300 in khaki shorts were stolen at some point between noon and 2 p.m. The company reported it at 5:58 p.m. on Andover Street.

Mark A. Spellman, 35, of 22 Jordan Road in Peabody, was arrested and charged with drunken driving and leaving the scene of a property damaging accident. The accident occurred on Nichols Road when a car was hit in a driveway, sustaining rear-end damage. The incident occurred at 1:41 a.m.
Daniel A. Minor, 51, homeless, was arrested and charged with illegal possession of a Class B substance at 5:09 p.m. on Lafayette Street.
Someone left without paying for $25 worth of gas from the station on North Street at 6:03 p.m.
A resident found an item that was thought to be drug paraphernalia thrown in the plants on the side of Highland Avenue and called the police. On closer professional inspection at 6:20 p.m., it was "determined it was not drug paraphernalia, but just a gum wrapper," according to the police logs.
A man was taken into protective custody after police said they found him drunk in a park. Police were looking for him, however, because employees at a nearby business thought they heard him making threats about robbing cab drivers. The incident took place at 2:55 a.m. on Washington Street.
Around 11:48 a.m. near Federal and Carpenter streets, a man was grazed with a scooter, not causing any injuries, but forcing a confrontation between the driver and the pedestrian that was resolved with a call to police.

Michele Dallesandro, 46, of 48 Hurd St. in Malden, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating an uninsured motor vehicle at 11:08 p.m.
Karen Beauvais, 52, of 9 Holten St. in Danvers, was arrested and charged with shoplifting at Kohl's on Independence Way at 2:43 p.m.
As one tenant moved out of a Broadway Street residence, another taunted her. The incident occurred at 5:06 p.m., and police stood by until a friend could arrive to "prevent a further breach of peace."
A man was cited for texting and speeding at 6:06 p.m. near Sohier Road and Hilltop Drive. According to the police report, the driver was speeding and did not notice the police officer in a marked cruiser behind him and was, therefore, pulled over. In addition, police observed, "a phone in his lap with a one-half written text message time stamped for while he was speeding in my presence."
A utility pole was struck by a boxtruck at 7:43 a.m. on West Dane Street.
Golf clubs were reported stolen on Prince Street at 10:40 a.m.
As a Glover School student attempted to take off from school, he was "throwing rocks at staff and has hit one person with a rock — that person has gone to seek medical attention at the school nurse" according to police logs. During the attack, the log said the "Principal is monitoring the student from a distance." Police restrained the student. The incident took place at 10:36 a.m. on Maple Street.
