Salem Theatre Company presents Arthur Miller’s “The Crucible,” Thursday through Saturday, 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, 3 p.m., Oct. 3 to 6; Oct. 10 to 13; Oct. 17 to 19. Winner of the Tony Award for best play, this drama about the Puritan purge of witchcraft in old Salem is both a gripping historical play and a timely parable of contemporary society.
