Five candidates in running for Ward 1 councilor

BEVERLY — Five candidates are vying for Ward 1 city councilor to replace Maureen Troubetaris, who is stepping down after 22 years.

Yesterday, The Salem News profiled candidates David Lang, Susan Woods Powell and Timothy Rubchinuk. Today, we profile Daniel Fishman and Michael Rotondo.

The top two vote-getters in Tuesday’s preliminary election will advance to the Nov. 5 final election.
