Two people were transported to an undisclosed hospital after a caller on Blueberry Road reported at 12:09 p.m. “that his mother and father have been fighting, and it appears that she has injured him.”
A 64-year-old bicyclist was hospitalized after a 12:59 p.m. report that he’d fallen off his bicycle on Atlantic Avenue and sustained a severe laceration to his ankle.
Police received a 5:47 p.m. report of a domestic disturbance at a Mystic Road address but determined there was “no domestic — just an issue with their autistic son.”
A man was transported to Salem Hospital after a 4 a.m. report that he seemed “weird” and was “not communicating ... just staring” at 245 Humphrey St. An officer determined the man had sustained an adverse reaction to medication.
Police received an 11:17 a.m. report that a male was videotaping at Highland and King streets. “No problem ... kids videotaping themselves on skateboards,” an officer wrote later.
A 5:15 p.m. report of an erratic operator on Franklin Avenue resulted in the arrest of Wendy Conaty, 53, of 68 Plymouth Ave., Swampscott, on charges of drunken driving, drinking alcohol from an open container in a motor vehicle and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
Police received multiple reports about 5:15 p.m. of a male “running around with his shirt off” and yelling at people not to “push the red button” near the Dunkin’ Donuts at 3 Central St. An officer later determined the male was “running to Salem to the zombie parade.”
Officers were unable to locate somebody who was reported to be lying on the sidewalk at Lowell and Baldwin streets at 11:26 p.m.
Police responded to a 7:09 a.m. report that a suspicious male was standing at the corner of Lowell and Bourbon streets holding a sign. Police wrote later: “The officer stated that the male was trying to sell a battery charger.”
