Absentee ballots available at City Hall

BEVERLY — Residents who wish to vote by absentee ballot can do so starting today at City Hall.

The city clerk’s office announced that it has received the absentee ballots and will be ready for voting starting today. City Hall is open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The city election is on Nov. 5 and includes races for mayor, City Council and School Committee.

The last day to register to vote for the election is Oct. 16. City Hall will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. that day. Oct. 16 is also the last day to make changes for people who have recently moved within the city or those who have not answered their census.
