Top sax player set to perform

BEVERLY — One of the world's best tenor saxophone players will play two concerts at the North Shore Music Theatre on Saturday to benefit the North Shore Jazz Project.

Grammy Award winner Joe Lovano and the group Us Five will play at 7 and 9 p.m. at Backstage Bistro, the restaurant at North Shore Music Theatre on Dunham Road.

Tickets are $28 in advance or $30 at the door. Proceeds will benefit the North Shore Jazz Project, a group that is trying to bring jazz back to the North Shore through performances and school workshops.
