A caller reported finding hypodermic needles and spoons at a Bartholomew Street property at 2:11 p.m. An officer disposed of the items.
A man was transported to Beverly Hospital after a 6:42 p.m. report that he was unconscious in a white pickup truck at 5 Allens Lane.
Police received a 7:31 p.m. report that a James Street woman wanted her son removed after a disturbance and arrested Korey Avallon, 26, of 17 James St., Peabody, on a charge of domestic assault.
A client at a group home on Lowell Street stated that her boyfriend was en route with a firearm to “settle a score” with another resident, according to a 7:34 p.m. report. Police wrote later: “Units, after questioning staff and clients, realized that no threat existed and the alleged perpetrator had already gone.”
Police received a 2:30 a.m. report from a Crane Brook Way resident who said something had been thrown through his front window. Police wrote later: “He called back and advised it was a varmint that had entered the home and was wreaking havoc.”
A Tracey Street woman reported at 10:52 a.m. that her dryer had been stolen.
A Dodge Street found a needle in her backyard, according to a 10:33 a.m. report.
Police received a 1:58 p.m. report that a man with a dog was refusing to leave the Whole Foods Market at 331 Paradise Road. “The dog is not a service dog,” police wrote.
A heavyset white man with a bright blue shirt and a shopping cart was running in and out of traffic near Walgreens on Paradise Road, according to a 4:47 p.m. report.
Police on patrol at 1:27 a.m. found a vehicle facing southbound on Bay Road and determined that it had been traveling northbound when it struck a utility pole. Ryan Beauchamp, 24, of 20 Marquette St., Springfield, was arrested on charges of drunken driving and a marked lanes violation. No injuries were reported.
