Dress your pooch in its Halloween best to benefit dog park

BEVERLY — The Beverly Dog Park’s third annual “Howl-O-Ween” Costume Contest is scheduled for tomorrow from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Beverly Common.

Dog owners are invited to dress up their dogs to help raise money for improvements at the Beverly Dog Park. Proceeds will go toward the purchase of benches, poop bags, dog park tags and a shed to house supplies, according to the Beverly Dog Park Committee.

The entry fee is $15, plus $5 for each additional dog. Prizes will be awarded to the winners. The fee includes a picture and entry to all activities.

This year’s event will include pet psychic Debra McGee and a spiritual healer for your dog, as well as raffles and vendors. The rain date is Sunday.
