The owner of the Jambu store on Atlantic Avenue reported to police at 4:03 p.m. that flower boxes outside her storefront were continually being damaged and “flowers get pulled out of the boxes.”

A woman reported at 5:58 p.m. that she had struck a crossing sign on Tedesco Street while trying to avoid hitting a dog.

Beverly

Thursday

Police received a 5:18 p.m. report of people looking into cars on at Trask Lane and Manor Road but were unable to locate anybody doing so during a search of the area.

A tire fell off of a car at 100 River St., according to a 6:03 p.m. report.

Police responded to an 8:59 p.m. report of a domestic dispute between a father and son at 5 Trask Court and arrested Michael Farese, 28, of 5 Trask Court, Beverly, on charges of two counts of domestic assault and battery.

A 10:09 p.m. report of an intoxicated grandson banging on a front door brought police to Wellesley Road, where they placed the man into protective custody.

Friday

Police responded to 41 Brimbal Ave. after an 8:33 a.m. report of threats and subsequently arrested Angel Figueroa, 40, of 73 Towne Hill Road, Haverhill, on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and threatening to commit a crime.

A motorcyclist suffered severe injuries after colliding with a car at Cabot Street and Franklin Place, according to Deputy fire Chief Peter O’Connor. Police received the call at 10:32 a.m. The biker, who police identified as Barney Rogers, 36, of Beverly, was transported to Beverly Hospital and later taken to Lahey North Shore. His condition was unknown at press time Friday night.

A woman who called the regular business line to inquire about a restraining order screamed, “Oh my God, Jesus Christ! What are you doing?!” about a minute into the call, according to a 3:02 p.m. report. Then there were additional “undecipherable screams and cries.” The call was disconnected at 3:12 p.m. and police tried to contact the phone company for a trace but it was “not authorized at this time.”
