A Myles Road woman left a message for the animal control officer that she had seen a stray cat the night before, according to a 3:34 p.m. report. “On callback, she confirmed it was not there in the morning,” wrote police. “I advised her it is most likely someone’s outdoor kitty and to keep an eye out for it and call us back if the cat’s health declines.”
A man reported finding a thumb drive with pornographic material on it at 4 Harvard St. at 5:04 p.m. An officer “will attempt to contact the owner to see if he wants it back,” wrote police.
A 2-year-old child was locked in a vehicle on Edgehill Road, according to a 6:06 p.m. report. A tow company unlocked the car.
A Tracey Street resident with a 1-year-old child reported their landlord had shut off their electricity at 6:07 p.m.
Police received a 6:30 p.m. report that a possibly intoxicated man was “continually falling off of his bike into oncoming traffic” near 162 Washington St.
An 8:12 p.m. report of a physical altercation between two men brought police to Starbuck’s at 240 Andover St., where they subsequently determined “it was a disagreement over a business arrangement.”
Police responded to an 8:17 p.m. report of kids causing a disturbance at the Northshore Mall and subsequently spoke with a male party there “who was refusing to deflate his blow-up doll.” Police later wrote: “He has done so and has placed it within a bag.”
Police at the Hess Gas Station at 545 Lowell St. at 11:28 p.m. arrested Paul English, 25, of 5 Cherry St., Danvers, on charges of drunken driving, failure to stop or yield and failure to signal.
Police at 2 Newbury St. at 1:08 a.m. arrested Edward Silva, 43, of 39 Quigley Ave., North Chelmsford, on charges of drunken driving, driving under the influence of drugs, possession of a class B drug and a marked lanes violation.
