Police responded to a 9:14 p.m. report of a fight at 215 Derby St. and spoke to a man who said someone had been giving him a “hard time” because he was wearing a Pittsburgh Steelers jersey.

An intoxicated man who had apparently passed out on the pavement in back of 100 Washington St. was taken into protective custody after an 11:27 p.m. report.

An 11:36 p.m. report of a fight in the street at 95 Derby St. resulted in the arrest of Matthew Lachapelle, 31, of 74 Tirrell St., Quincy, on charges of violating the city’s knife ordinance and disorderly conduct.

Sunday

A noise complaint brought police to 20 Palmer St. at 12:21 a.m., where officers determined a “full band with drums” was playing at a party. They shut it down.

Officers found more than 50 people at a house party at 20 Summit St., according to a 12:38 a.m. report. The party was ended.

A 1:03 a.m. report of a disturbance at 118 Washington St. resulted in the arrest of Kelly Shannon, 23, of 111 East St., Foxborough, on a charge of disorderly conduct.

A 1:41 a.m. report of a fight inside a vehicle brought police to 1 Traders Way, where they determined four men had gotten into a scuffle with each other while driving after a passenger had “one of his episodes” and became “verbally antagonistic.” The men refused medical attention and were sent on their way.

Police received a 3:42 p.m. report that somebody had tried to steal a lawn mower at 25 Valley St.

Friday

Police received a 2:24 p.m. report of shoplifting at J.C. Penney at the Northshore Mall and arrested Donna Auch, 48, of 418 Revere Beach Parkway, Revere.

Saturday

Somebody stole a GPS, clothes, and a bow and arrow from unlocked vehicles parked at 14 Dane St., according to a 7:56 a.m. report.

A woman will be summonsed on charges of possession of a Class B drug and possession of a Class C drug after police responded to an 8:27 a.m. report that a Crowninshield Street woman’s daughter had overdosed on prescription medication.
