A Danvers woman who pleaded guilty to a second offense of drunken driving, child endangerment while driving drunk and reckless operation of a motor vehicle was put on probation for two years by Judge Joseph Jennings in Gloucester District Court yesterday.
Carrie Featherstone, 42, of 8 Larrabee Ave., Danvers, also received a 90-day suspended sentence, lost her license for two years, was ordered to complete an alcohol program and was assessed $350 in court courts.
Featherstone was found not responsible of a charge of possession of an open container of alcohol in a vehicle and had a charge of reckless endangerment of a child dismissed.
Featherstone was arrested by Rockport police Sgt. Robert Tibert on Feb. 1 after he spotted Featherstone's vehicle traveling on South Street on just three tires; the front passenger side was supported only by the wheel rim.
According to the police report, the sidewall of the missing tire was found on Harrison Avenue in Gloucester and the remaining tread was found miles away on Nugent Stretch in Rockport.
Featherstone failed a number of field sobriety tests before she arrested in front of her two sons, who were passengers in the back seat of the vehicle.
