Police received a report at 6 a.m. of a woman who looked confused while walking barefoot and in her pajamas on West Shore Drive. Police responded to the area, but the woman could not be found.
Daniel Botehlo, 23, of 51 Lincoln St., Hudson, was arrested at 8 p.m. and charged with driving while unlicensed and failure to yield, following a motor vehicle stop on Lafayette Street.
Thursday
A worker from St. Andrew's Church walked into the station to report the theft of 250 pounds of salt from the minister's driveway. The person reporting the crime said the salt thieves must have been watching the minister's schedule because removal of the salt would have taken much effort. Also, a church group entered the building Friday evening and discovered it full of gas. The knob to a stove had been left on high but not lighted. The leader of the group aired out the building. The person who reported the two incidents believed they were related.
A School Street restaurant owner called police at 2:04 p.m. to report a young male had been exposing himself outside the window. The boy, described as about age 12, returned and exposed himself again. The caller chased the male into the ice cream shop. Police spoke to both parties. The boy apparently had "pantsed" but not exposed himself. His underwear had never come off, the logs said.
Patricia Spring Schoellkopf, 55, of 28 Commercial St., Marblehead, was arrested at 2:21 p.m. after being pulled over on Pleasant Street. She was charged with driving with a revoked license and speeding.

Gerald Kramer, 18, of 8 Hoover Ave., Peabody, and Ethan M. Schaier, 17, of 21 Brookhouse Drive, Apt. 12, Marblehead, were arrested at 10:52 p.m. and charged with illegal possession of alcohol, following a motor vehicle stop on Maple Street. Kramer was also charged with speeding.

Loss prevention at the Hannaford on Lowell Street called police at 5:02 p.m. to report the theft of two cans of formula by a man driving a 1999 blue Ford Escort.
An emergency room nurse at Lahey Clinic called police at 7:09 p.m. to report a patient who had been shot with a BB gun. The incident happened in Salem, the logs said.
Friday
A Pine Street resident went to the police station at 2:33 a.m. to report the theft of her car. She believed her son may have stolen the vehicle.
A Northshore Road resident called police at 7:02 a.m. to report his car had been broken into overnight. Nothing was taken, but the car owner's belongings had been rummaged through.
Police responded to an accident at 7:13 a.m. near McCarthy School. Icy road conditions had caused a school bus and car to run into a tree. One child on the bus was taken by ambulance to the hospital.
A Bartholomew Street resident called police at 9:57 a.m. to report the theft of scrap metal and an industrial tub sometime in the past 10 days.
Moises Chavez, 24, of 50 Johnston St., Apt. 3, Lynn was arrested at the Ritz Camera at the Northshore Mall at 1:19 p.m. and charged with driving while unlicensed, a plate number violation and a warrant from another police department.
Carla Alves, 35, of 59 Dunlap St., Salem, was arrested at the Macy's at the Northshore Mall and charged with shoplifting (over $100) by concealment.
A Tannery Apartment resident called police at 3:25 p.m. to report the theft of $420 while the resident had been in the hospital. Officers saw no sign of forced entry.
A patron of Spinelli's function hall on Route 1 called police at 3:26 p.m. to report the theft of her GPS from her car. The passenger window had also been broken.
Police responded to Gardner Street at 5:26 p.m., following a report of a rollover crash. Police requested Peabody Municipal Light to inspect a utility pole struck by the vehicle. The driver, Mallory McKenzie, 21, of Salem, was taken to Salem Hospital by her aunt.

Daniel J. Carrion, 24, of 3 Laurine Road, Peabody, was arrested at 1 a.m. and charged with driving with a suspended license and speeding, following a motor vehicle stop on Foster Street.
Police received a report at 1:22 a.m. that a Lynn man ripped off a door handle to a car handle belonging to another person.
Jamison Paradis, 38, of 3N Elderberry Lane, Rochester, N.H., was arrested at 1:53 a.m. and charged with breaking and entering in a car in the nighttime after he was stopped by Topsfield police for an alleged car break-in at 7-Eleven on Route 1 in Peabody.
Police received a report at 7:45 a.m. of a car break-in at Holiday Inn on Route 1.
Police received a report at 10:30 a.m. of a car break-in at Crane Brook Way.
Sasha D. Bennett, 30, of 49 Rosedale St., Apt. 3, Dorchester, was arrested at 11 a.m. and charged with shoplifting at Sears.
Yanira Diaz, 24, of 11 Balley Ave., Apt. 2, Lynn, was arrested at 2 p.m. and charged with driving with a suspended license, following a motor vehicle stop on Route 114.
Police will summons Brendan C. Burgess, 20, of 14 Will Sawyer St., Peabody, on a charge of shoplifting, following a report from the manager of Spencer Gifts at the Northshore Mall. The manager reported $20 in merchandise stolen.

Shane D. Clayton, 24, of 556 Main St., Apt. 5, Malden, was arrested at 1:10 a.m. and charged with drunken driving and failure to yield, following a motor vehicle stop on Route 1.
Juan Lopez, 30, of 26 Sagamore St., Lynn, was arrested at 7:32 a.m. and charged with driving while unlicensed and failure to yield, following a motor vehicle stop on Lynn Street.
Saul Lopez, 26, of 12 Jefferson St., Apt. 2, Lynn, was arrested at 10 a.m. and charged with driving while unlicensed and an equipment violation, following a motor vehicle stop at the Northshore Mall parking lot.

Police killed a rabid raccoon found at 4:48 p.m. on Bradford Street. A public works employee later came to dispose of the dead animal.
Keri M. Famico, 19, of 77 Proctor St., Salem, was arrested at 7:52 p.m. and charged with trespassing, after police spotted her and a group of youths near the entrance of the Museum Place Mall.
Police received a report at 9:04 p.m. from a member of the YMCA on Leggs Hill Road that his North Face jacket was stolen from the locker room. The jacket contained the member's car keys.
Police received a report at 10:25 p.m. of kids going checking car door handles on Buffum Street.

Derek T. Stretton, 19, of 3 Fiske Road, Saugus, was arrested at 12:18 a.m. and charged with disturbing the peace and transporting alcohol by a minor, following a report of a loud party at 30 Hancock St. Patrolmen Brian St. Pierre and Rafael Gonzalez responded to Apartment 1 of the building in what police called an ongoing problem. The patrolmen wrote in their report that police responded to the apartment 12 times in January. Police said a partygoers let them in the house, where they found empty beer cans throughout the apartment. Police summonsed 12 partygoers for disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct. Police said Stretton was arrested when he grabbed his ID from the hands of a police sergeant and said, in a sarcastic tone: "Thanks, chief," then left the apartment and slammed the door. Police will cite Casey O'Leary, the host of the party, who was not there while police were on scene, for keeping a disorderly home.
Russell V. Pacewicz Jr., 21, of 6 Ainsworth Place, Lynn, was arrested at 12:36 a.m. and charged with drunken driving, negligent driving, two counts of leaving the scene of an accident with property damage and a marked-lanes violation, following a hit-and-run crash on North Street by Granite Street. Police said Pacewicz struck a parked car and collided with 20 to 30 feet of fence at St. Mary's Cemetery.
Police responded to Derby Street at Lafayette Street at 1:50 a.m. for a report of a man in a van who had fallen asleep while waiting for the light to change. After police spoke with the driver, the patrolman determined he was not drinking or on drugs and was safe to drive.
Andrea M. Day, 26, of 27 Holbrook Court, Melrose, was arrested at 9:30 a.m. while in the police lockup on a charge of illegal possession of a prescription medication (Suboxone). Police Sgt. Kristian Hanson said he could see Day act in a suspicious manner in her cell through a surveillance camera. Police said she was bending over and reaching to the floor like she was trying to hide something. Police checked the cell and saw that she was trying to crush the pill. Day had been arrested on at 4:45 p.m. Friday following a crash on Margin Street. Day was a passenger in a vehicle when the driver made a U-turn and struck a parked car. Day had a warrant for her arrest out of Chelsea District Court.
Police received a report at 2:41 p.m. of a man with a pipe on Lafayette Street. Police responded and the pipe turned out to be a cane, which the man uses to walk with.
An employee at New England Magic reported to police at 5:55 p.m. that someone stole a scrying mirror with silver pentacle, gypsy dream dictionary, pouches of wolf's hair, pouches of snake skins and the Encyclopedia of Superstition.

Police received a report at 4 a.m. of a man running down Loring Avenue with a flat screen television.
Antonio F. Hernandez-Mendez, 27, of 20 Nichols St., Lynn, was arrested at 10:53 a.m. and charged with driving while unlicensed, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving without insurance, and giving a false name to a police officer, following a motor vehicle stop on Traders Way.
A Pleasant Street woman looking out her window saw a man steal a saw table from the driveway. Her husband was working in the backyard and she went to get her husband but the man already drove away in a Ford pickup truck. The woman did get a license plate number and police are looking for the man who is a known trash and scrap metal collector.

Police received a report at 8 a.m. of an attempted break-in at a home on Naumkeag Row.
Police took a report at 1:45 p.m. of an attempted larceny from Merchants Liquor Mart on High Street.

Police took a report of a threats at 4:21 p.m. at Twin Oaks Nursing Home.

James Fodera, 21, of 147 Sanborn Lane, Reading, was arrested at 2:24 a.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery at a Dayton Street address.
Michael Michaud, 19, of 14 Emerson St., Peabody, and Mackenzie Higgens, of 80 Pierce Rd., Plainfield, N.J. were arrested at 2:21 a.m. on Center Street. Michaud was charged with disorderly conduct and having a false liquor identification and Higgens was charged with disorderly conduct and the misuse of an RMV document.
Police received a report at 9:52 a.m. of a break-in at Charles Street.
A car was reported stolen at 1:32 p.m. from Green Street.
