Police received two reports of car break-ins at the Spring Hill Suites parking lot. Police said a window was broken and a GPS was stolen in each incident.
Police received a report at 7:09 p.m. of kids rummaging through a truck belonging to Melanson Trucking on Caller Street.
Anthony Attachi, 38, of 10 Thorndike St., Peabody, was arrested at 8:46 p.m. by Reading police and charged by Peabody police with domestic assault and battery, following a domestic disturbance at his residence.
Monday
Police received a report at 7:15 a.m. of a suspicious green Jeep on Raylen Avenue. The man was waiting to start a roofing job.
Linda R. Chhay, 25, of 28 Warren St., Peabody, was arrested at 10:30 a.m. on warrants for domestic assault, malicious damage to a motor vehicle and two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, following a report at 7:30 a.m. of a woman who smashed her boyfriend's window with a mop handle.
Aegean Capital, a private equity real estate investment and management company at 100 Corporate Place, reported to police at 11:47 a.m. that a laptop was stolen over the weekend.

William A. Doucette, 25, who is listed as homeless, was arrested at 4:24 p.m. on two default warrants out of Salem and Lynn district courts at Lifebridge, formerly known as Salem Mission.
Police received a report at 4:50 p.m. of a loose pit bull on Ward Street. The dog's owner retrieved the dog before police arrived.
Police confiscated a bicycle on the Essex Street pedestrian mall at 5 p.m. The man who was riding the bike said he was aware of the bylaw banning bike riding on the mall but was doing it anyway. When the man refused to identify himself, police took the bike. Police told the man he can pick it up at the police station when he presents ID.
A woman walking past Sidelines on Canal Street reported to police at 5:30 p.m. that a man in a passing car threw water at her. When the woman went to Crosby's on Canal Street with her parents, she spotted the car, a gray Honda sedan, in the parking lot. The man left immediately, but the woman was able to get a license plate number.
Monday
A student who was suspended from Salem Prep at the Collins Middle School campus refused to leave at 9:43 a.m., prompting police to threaten to arrest the student if he didn't leave. The student left without incident.
Police received a report at 10:43 a.m. of a man driving a car on Bridge Street while drinking from a vodka bottle.
A woman using the bathroom at 10 Federal St. reported to police at 1:40 p.m. that a man tried to peek through a crack in the stall door. The woman yelled at the man to leave. The woman said the man was short, with short, possibly gray hair, and was wearing tan boots. Police are checking the surveillance footage to see if they can identify the man entering or leaving the building.
A pit bull attacked a pug at 2:30 p.m. while both were on-leash and out for a walk on Derby Wharf. The owner said the dogs were smelling each other when the pit bull grabbed the pug by the head. The owners were able to separate the dogs. The pug was bleeding and taken to the veterinarian. The case will be forwarded to the animal control officer.
A Lynn man trying to catch an MBTA bus ran across New Derby Street at 5:30 p.m. and was struck by a car. Police said the man was taken to Salem Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Steven A. Hamilton Jr., 41, of 45 Cherry St., Swampscott, was arrested at 7:37 a.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery at his residence.
Police received a report at 6:14 p.m. of a car break-in on Crescent Street.
Saturday
Keon Dow, 20, of 88 Broadway, Salem, was arrested at 3:45 a.m. and charged with drunken driving and driving with a suspended license, following a motor vehicle stop on Burpee Road.
Police received a report at 9:40 p.m. of people in and around a vacant house on Burrill Street.
Monday
Swampscott police and the Massachusetts State Police Bomb Squad responded to a home on Laurel Avenue to check out a suspicious package Monday night that turned out to be nothing.

A woman who had the sun in her eyes was pulling out of Woodland Mead onto Asbury Street at 4 p.m. when she struck a 56-year-old male bicyclist. The bicyclist, who was wearing a helmet, suffered minor injuries and was transported to Beverly Hospital. The driver, Meghan O'Hara, 25, of Danvers, was not cited.

Daniel S. Zapantis, 24, of 184 Bridge St., Beverly, was arrested at 5 a.m. and charged with drunken driving, negligent driving, failure to stop for police and failure to yield/stop.
Monday
Police received a report at 5:27 a.m. from a resident in the 200 block of Essex Street who said there was a bright light outside. Police checked the area but did not find a bright light.
Police received a report at 11:30 a.m. of a man sleeping behind First Baptist Church.
