A First Street resident walked into the station to report the theft of a UPS delivery item worth $131.93 from her apartment door.

Friday

Joseph Lee McMaster Jr., 24, of 52 Peabody St., Apt. 3L, Salem, was arrested at 12:59 a.m. on Warren and Flint streets after police spotted him inside a car with a flashlight. McMaster tried to flee from police by driving the wrong way down Flint Street and eventually got out of the car and ran, jumping fences, according to police. Six officers pursued McMaster or assisted in his arrest. Inside his car, police found a slew of items, including credit cards, golf clubs and a mink stole. He was charged with two counts of breaking and entering in the night with intent to commit a crime, two counts of receiving stolen property of more than $250, three counts of receiving a stolen credit card, possession of burglarious tools, failure to stop for police, being a disorderly person, driving negligently to endanger, a one-way street violation, and driving with defective equipment.

A tow yard employee called police at 1:57 a.m. to report the driver's-side window of his car had been broken.

Police and fire responded to a dumpster fire near Lafayette and Ward streets at 7:04 a.m. The blaze caused damage to the apartment building at 6 Ward St.

A Buffum Street resident called police at 8:10 a.m. to report her windshield had been smashed in sometime overnight.

An employee of a Traders Way business called police at 8:32 a.m. to report the theft of her cell phone and cash from her purse while she was working

A North Street gas station employee called police at 11:57 a.m. to report a driver had taken off without paying the $9.60 for gas.

Frederick R. Cerundolo, 44, of 20 Newhall Ave., Saugus, was arrested at the Home Depot on Traders Way at 4:16 p.m. and charged with shoplifting over $100.

John S. O'Shea, 31 of 735 Lynnfield St., Lynn, was arrested at 4:47 p.m. at a Washington Street business and charged with shoplifting over $100.

Beverly

Thursday

Police received a call about threats to kill at 1:45 p.m. from a Sam Fonzo Drive residence.

Friday

Police were called at 1:39 a.m. to a Cabot Street apartment on a report of a possible fight and loud noise. Officers arrived to find the residents playing a video game too loudly. They were told to quiet down.

A Rantoul Street resident called police at 1:16 p.m. on a report of someone threatening to throw rocks at the windows.

Danvers

Thursday

A patron of Calitri's Italian Cuisine on Route 1 called police at 5:43 p.m. to report the breaking and entering of a car.

Friday

A resident of the Endicott Green apartments on Route 1 called police at 8:50 a.m. to report a theft from a car.

A Burley Street resident called police at 9:06 a.m. to report a theft.

Police were called to the Market Basket on Endicott Street at 12:13 p.m. on a report of a fight.

Marblehead

Thursday

Robert D. Sterling, 34, 8 Lake Ave., Lynn, was arrested at 10:36 p.m. after being pulled over by police on Lafayette Street. He was charged with driving with a suspended license and speeding.

Friday

Ronald Mastronardi, 64, of 195 West Shore Drive was arrested at his home at 9:28 a.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery and possession of a Class E drug.

Amy Budrow, 33, 15 Hines Court, Marblehead, was arrested while driving on Heritage Way at 4:58 p.m. and charged with drunken driving.

Peabody

Thursday

The owner of car registered in New York walked into the station at 1:59 p.m. to report the theft of his license plates while the vehicle was parked on Felton Street.

Police were called to Gregory's Lounge on Walnut Street at 2:06 p.m. on a report of a large group outside the bar. Officers arrived to learn the men were praying on the sidewalk and all was in order.

Timothy Camille Jr., 38, of 11 Fair St., Gloucester, was arrested at 3:05 p.m. on Summit Street after being stopped by police. He was charged with driving with a suspended license, subsequent offense; no inspection sticker; and miscellaneous motor vehicle equipment violations. Also summonsed was the car owner, Edgardo Pagaza, 40, of 22 Exchange St., Apt. 2, Gloucester, who was charged with driving with revoked registration and an uninsured and unregistered car.

The McCarthy School principal called police at 3:08 p.m. on a report of a drunken parent in her office. Police documented the matter, sent the parent home in a taxi and reported the incident to the Department of Children and Families.

Police arrested a 16-year-old at the J.C. Penney at the Northshore Mall at 6:42 p.m. and charged the teen with shoplifting by concealing merchandise.

Brendan C. Burgess, 20, of 14 Will Sawyer St., Peabody, was arrested at the Northshore Mall and charged with trespassing.

Police received a call at 10:05 p.m. on a report of breaking and entering of a car parked outside The Cheesecake Factory at the Northshore Mall. A laptop computer was taken from inside the car.

Friday

Police received a call at 12:06 a.m. about a fight involving six to eight men outside Buddha's Tavern on Washington Street. The parties were gone upon arrival.

Jefferson G. Padilha, 28, of 147 Lynnfield St. Apt. 1, Peabody, was arrested at 9:58 a.m. after being pulled over by police on Washington Street. He was charged with driving while unlicensed.

A St. Ann's Avenue resident called police at 11:31 a.m. to report the theft of some tools and copper from his truck sometime overnight.

A Griffin Road resident called police at 11:34 a.m. to report the theft of his $250 GPS from his car within the past two hours.

A Verizon Wireless field engineer called police at 11:43 a.m. to report the theft of $2,500 worth of copper from their cell tower, as well as damage to the tower sometime since March 3.

Swampscott

Tuesday

Carla Caefer-Cousino, 53, of 19 Union St., Apt. 35, Lynn, was arrested at 1:53 p.m. at the Stop & Shop on Paradise Road and charged with shoplifting, third offense.

Police received an emergency call at 2:11 p.m. about a car that had driven into a pole on Burrill Street. A tow truck was called, and Verizon was notified of the damaged pole.

A Redington Street resident walked into the station at 7:33 p.m. to report the theft of his front license plate.

Wednesday

Cleon Cortez, 39, of 271 Western Ave., Apt. 108, Lynn, was arrested at his home at 12:50 a.m. and charged with violating an abuse prevention order.

Thursday

Noel Perez, 45, of 16 Gardner St., Apt. 2, Salem, was arrested at a medical building on Paradise Road at 1:32 a.m. and charged with speeding in violation of special regulation, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and drunken driving.
