Inaugural day at Gordon College

WENHAM — Gordon college welcomed its eighth president, Dr. D. Michael Lindsay, yesterday during a day of inaugural activities that featured music, several symposia, a worship service and a colorful inaugural ceremony packed with colleagues and well-wishers. Lindsay, 39, is an award-winning sociologist from Rice University and one of the youngest college presidents in the country. He takes the helm of the Christian liberal arts college in its 122nd year.
