A beer truck hit a pillar and caused damage near Abbot Hall, according to a 4:32 p.m. report.

Police received an 8:02 p.m. report of harassment from a Farrell Court person who said elderly residents there had formed a “gang.”

Peabody

Monday

A motor vehicle was reported stolen from the methadone clinic at 172 Newbury St. at 4:22 p.m. It was recovered shortly thereafter.

A dead cat was found on a lawn at 11 Barr Road, according to a 5 p.m. report.

The manager of Brooksby Farm reported “someone taking apples and refusing to pay for them” at 5:50 p.m.

Police received a 7:34 p.m. report that a shoplifter was attempting to leave Nordstrom at the Northshore Mall and arrested Reginald Dorisca , 26, of 347 Mechanic St., Leominster, on charges of credit card fraud over $250, identity fraud and disorderly conduct.

An “unruly player” was reported at the James McVann-Louise O’Keefe Memorial Skating Rink at 8:41 p.m. The man was escorted from the property.

Monday

Police responded to an 8:18 p.m. report of an overdose on Colonial Terrace and arrested Benjamin Jose Acampora, 23, of 30 Fuller Ave., Swampscott, on charges of illegal possession of a Class A substance and being knowably present where heroin is being kept; Aja Klanfer, 28, of 590 Grafton St., Worcester, on charges of illegal possession of a Class A substance and being knowably present where heroin is being kept; and Ari Kosofsky , 35, of 10 Colonial Terrace, Salem, on a charge of being knowably present where heroin is being kept.

Police received a 5:02 p.m. report that a small child had been struck by a vehicle on Rainbow Terrace. An officer determined that the boy likely ran out into the road. The driver was not cited. The boy suffered abrasions, and his mother said she would bring him to the hospital.
