Wednesday

A Countryside Lane woman reported at 11:07 a.m. that items had been taken from her house in October. “She suspects her son’s girlfriend,” wrote police.

Police conducted a traffic stop on Pleasant Street at 6:52 p.m. and arrested Luckese Richards, 26, of 24 Lewis St., Apt. 2, Lynn, on a charge of possession of a class E drug and two outstanding warrants.

Thursday

Police responded to Endicott Avenue after a 12:50 a.m. report of a man sleeping in his car with the door open. “Party went inside,” an officer wrote.

Beverly

Wednesday

Police received a 5:06 p.m. report that an animal was howling next to the school at 41 Brimbal Ave., but an area search didn’t yield anything suspicious.

A 5:34 p.m. report that a man was intoxicated at 288 Rantoul St. resulted in the arrest of Wade Durkee, 45, of the same address, on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Police received a 5:49 p.m. report that a ceremonial saber was stolen from a building at 117 Elliott St.

Wednesday

A Pulaski Street caller reported a suspicious man pacing by a mailbox at 4:56 p.m. An officer determined the man was waiting for a ride.

Thursday

An officer took a report of missing trash barrels in the Main Street area at 9:25 a.m.

An Anderson Street woman reported at 11:10 a.m. that checks had been stolen from her residence and cashed. Police are investigating.

Portions of Lynnfield and Washington streets were closed after a significant water main break late in the afternoon. Lt. Arthur Yeo said it was unclear when the problem would be fixed, but that the DPW was digging in the area at about 8 p.m.

Police responded to a 4:07 p.m. report that a person had found a handgun on Harmony Grove Road and subsequently determined that it was a plastic water gun.
