Police received a 4:31 a.m. report that a Middle Street man’s car had been entered, but the man said he didn’t know if anything had been stolen because it was “full of stuff.” The man called back later to report his car hadn’t been broken into after all — it was a dream.
A man at Spring and Sewall streets reported at 6:06 p.m. that youths had pointed a laser in his eye, causing eye pain. Police spoke to a child’s mother about the situation, and the caller was transported to Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary by a friend.
Thursday
Police responded to a 1:02 a.m. report of a disturbance on Sagamore Road and arrested Connor Bergmann, 19, of 211 Common Lane, Beverly, on charges of domestic assault and battery and destruction of property over $250.

Police received a 4:23 p.m. report that the tires of a vehicle at 37 Woodbury St. had been slashed.
A 5:07 p.m. report of a disturbance at 474 Rantoul St. resulted in the arrest of Karyn Hidden, 49, of 9 Birch Road, Wenham, on charges of disorderly conduct and receiving stolen property under $250. Officer Dave Costa said Hidden was arrested after refusing to turn over the keys to her brother’s car.
Thursday
A 12:10 a.m. report of people banging on a door brought officers to 139 Park St., at which point the people reportedly left.
Police received a 12:41 a.m. report that an intoxicated man on Cabot Street was “not feeling right.”

Wednesday
Police received a 7:10 p.m. report from a child on Farm Avenue who said his grandmother was having a heart attack. “Female caller then got on the phone and reported that all was OK, her mother was just upset and was making pretend that she was having a heart attack, but there were no problems.”
A Paleologos Street woman told police at 11:20 p.m. that her husband was intoxicated and “out of control,” resulting in the arrest of Kevin Galibois, 51, of 25 Paleologos St., Peabody, on a charge of domestic assault and battery.
Thursday
A “loud crash” was reported in the area of 59 Tremont St. at 2:34 a.m., but an officer was unable to locate any disturbance in the area.
A Willis Road man called police at 10:15 a.m. to complain about chickens and roosters in his neighbor’s yard. He was referred to the Department of Health.
A Paleologos Street man reported a chicken in his yard at 11:38 a.m. The animal control officer determined that it was actually a pheasant. “The animal will be left alone for the time being,” police wrote.

Police received a 9:58 p.m. report of a suspicious trash bag at 2 Woodside St. “Tarp removed from street,” an officer wrote later.
Vending machines at Salem Laundromat at 147 North St. were broken into and change stolen, according to an 11:15 p.m. report.
Thursday
Police received an 11:32 a.m. report that a door worth $1,200 had been stolen off a Bobcat vehicle at 41 Circle Hill Road.

Police received a 9:42 p.m. report that a man was trying to enter a porch at 135 Sylvan St.
Thursday
An officer at 32 Poplar St. at 8:26 a.m. arrested Jason Eisnor, 27, of 267 Water St., Wakefield, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a license suspended for drunken driving.
Police received a 3:23 p.m. report of shoplifting at Walmart and arrested Osasu Uhunsere, 20, of 64 Mayfair St., Lynn, on charges of shoplifting and resisting arrest and her sister Osayamen Uhunsere, 18, of 285 Old West Port Road, North Dartmouth, on a charge of shoplifting.
