Fund set up to aid family who lost home in fire


People may also drop off gift card donations or checks at Swampscott High between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. weekly.

The UNO restaurant in Vinnin Square is also hosting a “dough raiser” fundraiser through Monday. A special ticket is required so that a portion of the bill can be donated to the family.

“I know the outpouring of support for them has been incredible,” said Laura DeMartino of Connecticut, the sister of Peter Ghirardini, in an email. “They have appreciated everything people have done for them during this tragedy.”
