Masked men rob convenience store

IPSWICH — Police say two masked men with knives made off with cash and cigarettes after robbing the Richdale Convenience Store on Tuesday night.

No injuries were reported.

Police received a 10:45 p.m. report that two men had robbed the convenience store at 44 Market St. and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.

Both men were white. One was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, black pants and white gloves, while the other donned an orange hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black gloves, according to a press release from Lt. Daniel Moriarty.

Officers searched the area with help from a state police K-9 unit, but the suspects weren’t located.

It was unknown whether a vehicle was involved in the robbery.
