At 12:28 p.m., police at the Liberty Tree Mall arrested Kyle Harris, 41, of 32 Fosters Lane, Wakefield, on a charge of disorderly conduct.
A 2:36 p.m. report of shoplifting at Walmart, 55 Brooksby Village, resulted in the arrest of Christine King, 45, of 21 Caller St., Peabody, on a charge of shoplifting.
Police responded to a 2:51 p.m. report of shoplifting at Market Basket, 139 Endicott St., and arrested Maureen Anderson, 48, of 2 Ashton St., Beverly, on a charge of shoplifting.
A 4:13 p.m. report of shoplifting brought an officer to Walmart, where Tia Jones, 26, of 31 Lily St., Lynn, was arrested on a charge of shoplifting.
Police received multiple calls around 3:10 p.m. about a large group of kids “causing problems” and “throwing snowballs at cars” on Smith Street.
An “irate” caller told police at 8:15 p.m. that the harbormaster had parked near Ferry Lane in a way that took up three spots. An officer determined that the harbormaster was legally parked.
People were reported to be throwing “what seemed like ice balls and snowballs” at passing cars on Pleasant Street at 8:29 p.m., but an officer was unable to locate anyone suspicious.
