Salem

Friday

Amanda M. Teixeria, 23, of 37 Lynn St., Peabody, was arrested and charged with drunk driving and driving with defective equipment.

A man was taken to Salem Hospital by ambulance with leg and back injuries after a two-car accident on Boston Street at about 4:30 p.m.

Police responded at 5:40 p.m. to the area of 5 Collins St. for a report of a dispute over a parking space.

Saturday

Branden M. Carroll, 24, of 116 Lafayette St., Salem, was arrested at 1:18 a.m. at Bridge and Webb streets and charged with violating the city's knife ordinance.

Jeffery K. Knorr Jr., 25, of 14 Abbot St., Salem, was arrested at 1:35 a.m. at Canal and Mill streets and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and violation of the city's knife ordinance.

Cedric J. Wongis, 28, of 36 Lyman St., Lynn, was arrested at 4:13 a.m. on the Bridge Street bypass road and charged with driving with a revoked license, sixth offense, and speeding.

Police responded to a 9:10 p.m. report of a man pounding on the door and demanding to get into the building at the Health & Education Services facility at 41 Mason St. Andrew M. St. Pierre, 27, of Boardman Street, Salem, was arrested and charged with disturbing the peace and trespassing.

A woman came into the police station to report a suspicious person in the Buffum Street neighborhood. The woman said an elderly man walking his dog has followed her on three occasions when she has been walking her dog. When the man gets close, the woman said, he points his hands at her and makes the sound of a gun. Police advised the woman to keep her cell phone with her while she's walking her dog and call police if she sees the man.

A man reported that someone stole the windshield of his Bobcat, which was parked overnight in the Staples parking lot on Paradise Road.

An intoxicated man attempted to climb down the outside of a porch at 29 Hancock St. after an argument at about 3 p.m. and fell halfway down. The man declined medical attention was placed in protective custody.

A man who came to the police station at about 3 p.m. was arrested after engaging in "tumultuous disorderly conduct," police said. Theodore T. Nelson, 47, of 321 Cabot St., Beverly, was charged with disorderly conduct and possession of a Class B substance (Percocet).

A resident told police that he had received about 100 texts from his fiancee that day, including a few in which she implied she was going to kill him. He requested an emergency restraining order.

Police were dispatched to North Shore Children's Hospital for a report of a child that had been attacked by a dog.

Police in an unmarked cruiser stopped a suspicious vehicle on Cherry Street at 9:11 p.m. and arrested Kelsey A. Vasquez, 20, of 14 Cherry St., Salem. Vasquez was charged with illegal possession of a Class C substance (Klonopin), violation of the city knife ordinance, and driving with a suspended license.

Sunday

Marvin A. Perez, 20, of 1 College Drive, Salem, was arrested at 7:30 a.m. by Salem State University police and charged with being a disorderly person, disturbing the peace, and malicious destruction of property over $250.

A car crashed into a utility pole on Canal Street just after 9 a.m. when the driver lost control on the snow-covered road and crossed over the other lane. Nobody was injured and no citations were issued.

A car swerved across the snow-covered Bypass Road and crashed head-on into another car at about 10 a.m. One driver was cited for driving faster than reasonable for the road conditions. Both drivers complained of pain but refused treatment on scene.

A man told police that ice from a snowplow fell on his head.

Toccara L. Lark, 29, of 313 Essex St., Lynn, was arrested at 1:41 p.m. at CVS on Highland Avenue and charged with uttering a false prescription and forgery.

The Fire Department had to vent an apartment at 27 Pickman St. at about 3 p.m. after a woman apparently passed out while she was cooking, police said.

Peabody

Friday

Police received a report of kids throwing items out of a school bus at passing cars on Lynn Street. Police checked it out but could not locate the bus.

Police spoke to two parents on Veterans Memorial Drive who were encouraging their children to fight.

Frederick S. Sullivan, 45, of 8 Coleman St., Peabody, was arrested at 2:38 p.m. and charged with violating a restraining order.

The Fire Department removed a dog that was "stuck in water" at the Winona water treatment plant on Butternut Avenue.

Gregory J. Lowe, 54, of 13 Kilby St., Gloucester, and George Schlichte, 53, of 73 Whithem St., Gloucester, were arrested at 5:55 p.m. at the Northshore Mall and charged with possession of a Class A substance.

Saturday

Dylan A. Clukey, 22, of 33 Appleby Road, Salem, was arrested at 1:28 a.m. in Peabody Square and charged with drunk driving.

A Wilson Terrace resident told police that two teenage boys have been throwing snowballs at her windows and doors from Sparrow Lane twice per day for a week between 3 and 5 p.m.

Cesar A. Herrera, 20, of 103 Washington St., Apt. 1, Peabody, was arrested at 2:52 p.m. on Route 114 and charged with driving without a license.

Police received a report at 7:32 p.m. of a car into a snowbank on Mansfield Street and a man wandering in the street. Darcell M. Clare, 29, of 6 Mansfield St., Peabody, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of drugs and using a motor vehicle without authority.

Sunday

Selvyn W. Macario, 25, of 10 Linwood Place, Apt. 2, Lynn, was arrested at 12:31 a.m. on Lynn Street and charged with driving without a license and an equipment violation.

Jose D. Sanchez, 32, of 83 Fayette St., was arrested at 12:46 a.m. on Wallis Street and charged with drunk driving and a marked lanes violation.

A DPW sand truck struck a fence at a house at 24 Oak Ave. at about 8:30 a.m., causing minor damage.

Police issued four citations for cars blocking the entrance to Highland Park.

Danvers

Friday

Police responded at 10:54 p.m. to a snowball fight outside the Danvers Historical Society on Page Street.

Andrew Crowther, 21, of 6 Perkins Lane, Lynnfield, was arrested at 11:22 p.m. and charged with driving under the influence of drugs and driving with improper equipment.

Saturday

Joseph Cole, 22, of 18 Greenlawn Ave., Salem, was arrested at 2:35 a.m. and charged with drunk driving, speeding, and an equipment violation.

Michael April, 34, of 1 Cabot Road, Danvers, was arrested at 12:23 p.m. and charged with uttering a false instrument, forgery, false impersonation and identity fraud, attempt to commit a crime, and two counts of larceny under $250 by false pretense.

Daryll Cote, 29, and Michelle Steen, 30, both of 152 Endicott St., Danvers, were arrested at 8:39 p.m. at Savers Value Village and charged with shoplifting. Cote was also charged with giving a false name to a police officer.

Sunday

Police responded to a rollover accident on Route 114 at about 12:30 p.m. There were no reported injuries.

Beverly

Friday

A woman in a Whitney Avenue apartment admitted to police that she was banging and yelling on the second floor in retaliation for noise she had heard the previous night.

Saturday

Police responded at 1:57 a.m. to a report of a loud stereo and a loud group on Bartlett Street.

A caller informed police about a wire "sparking" on Elliott Street near Cummings Center. The city electrician was notified.
