Airplane flips at Beverly Airport

BEVERLY — A single-engine airplane flipped over just off a runway at Beverly Airport shortly after noon today.

Two people were reportedly on board at the time, but it was unclear if either was injured.

Police, ambulances and firefighters from Beverly, Danvers and Wenham responded to the report. The airport is currently closed.
