A 3:08 a.m. report of a domestic dispute at 22 Bridge St. resulted in the arrest of Noel Perez, 48, of the same address, on a charge of domestic assault and battery. A woman at the location was also arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Salem District Court.
A 1:36 p.m. report of a shoplifter at 450 Highland Ave. resulted in the arrest of Lisa Fronduto, 34, of 12 Pope St., Salem, on a charge of shoplifting over $100.
The store manager at Starbucks at 211 Washington St. reported that a man with a large beard and a motorized wheelchair had been panhandling aggressively in front of the store at 1:45 p.m., but an officer was unable to locate the individual.
Police fielded a report of a possibly counterfeit $10 bill at 29 New Derby St. at 6:32 p.m.
Police received a 1:12 p.m. report that a car ran over trash at Front and Darling streets. “He called back to say it went around the block and has come back and is picking up the trash,” police wrote.
A Foster Street woman reported at 4:09 p.m. that she had been receiving harassing texts and phone calls from a person who got her information from a dating website.
A Roosevelt Avenue woman called 911 to ask for an airport phone number at 6:45 p.m. “She was informed to call 411, not 911,” police wrote.
An employee of Walgreens on Pleasant Street told police at 12:18 p.m. that she had seen a police report in the newspaper regarding a missing adult tricycle. “After seeing the report in the paper, the pharmacy decided to call in and say they had brought in and have been holding the trike for a week and a half at least. Pharmacy has called the owner of the trike and told her they are putting it outdoors for her to collect.”
