An officer responded to Walmart at 55 Brooksby Village Drive after a 2:41 p.m. report of an accident with no injuries.



A 5:21 p.m. report of a domestic dispute at 135 Lafayette St. resulted in the arrest of Jason Alonzo, 19, of 24 Peabody St., Salem, on a charge of domestic assault and battery.


Police received a 4:01 a.m. report of a domestic dispute at 41 Federal St. and arrested Christopher Hale, 30, of the same address, on charges of two counts of domestic assault and battery.

A taxi driver told police that he had blacked out before crashing through a fence and striking a wall at 1 Holyoke Square, according to a 4:19 a.m. log item. There were no reported injuries, and police didn’t issue any citations.

A bicyclist was transported to Salem Hospital with arm and leg injuries after being struck by a North Shore Elder Services van near 331 Highland Ave., according to a 10:36 a.m. log item. The operator of the vehicle, identified as James Grocki, was cited for failure to use care in starting.

At 2:47 p.m., an officer at 292 Canal St. arrested Sean Patrick Bell, 44, of 195 Wabash Ave., Ukiah, Calif., on charges of being a fugitive from justice, failure to stop for police, driving at a speed greater than reasonable, disorderly conduct, operating a motor vehicle negligently to endanger and passing where prohibited. Police declined to provide specifics about the incident that led to Bell’s arrest. According to a police log from Ukiah, Bell was arrested in September 2012 on a charge of violating a court order.



Police conducted a traffic stop at 80 S. Main St. at 3:40 p.m. and arrested Heather Larocque, 27, of 259 Newbury St., Peabody, on charges of possession of a Class A substance with intent to distribute, possession of a Class B substance with intent to distribute and possession of a Class C substance with intent to distribute and Sean Boyden, 27, of 2 Dooling Circle, Peabody, on charges of unlicensed operation, possession of a Class B substance with intent to distribute and possession of a Class C substance with intent to distribute.
