The Salem News
---- — A story that appeared on Page One of Friday’s Salem News requires clarification and a correction. Christian Day, the owner of local shops that were the subject of leafleting by family and friends of Dillon Renard, the young man killed in a drunken-driving crash last June, says that contrary to what he indicated in a July Salem News interview, “it remains to be seen” whether he will contribute toward the legal bills for Angelique Griffin, the Salem woman and a close family friend of Day who pleaded guilty in the crash last week. Also, Day was misidentified in Friday’s story. He states that he is a warlock.
