A woman reported finding a handheld radio at 4 Wiseman Drive at 10:39 a.m. An officer confirmed that it belonged to the department.
A bus driver reported an unattended 2-year-old in the roadway at 67 Endicott St. at 11:27 a.m. “Officer reports the child had escaped from his home without the caretaker knowing,” wrote police. “Child was returned to his family.”
Police received a 12:45 p.m. report that a Pump It Up customer who was upset no food was included in a party she had booked had remarked, “This is the reason why people bring guns to places.” An officer was going to advise her she was “not welcomed” at the business.
The Fire Department extinguished a small trash fire at 80 Walnut St. at 1:48 p.m.
Police responded to an 11:07 p.m. report of a car stopped in the road at 153 Endicott St. and subsequently arrested Christopher Mulvany, 33, of 39 Central St., Beverly, on charges of drunken driving and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
A 12 a.m. report of shoplifting at Kohls resulted in the arrest of Anna Clifford, 46, of 24 Sidney Ave., Lynn, on a charge of shoplifting.
Police fielded an 8:44 a.m. report of an injured deer at 80 Lindall St., but an officer was unable to locate the animal.
