Police responded to an apartment on Broadway and a report of “domestic drunkenness,” as logged at 12:45 a.m.

Two drunks banging on a restaurant window on Cabot Street, as reported at 1:31 a.m., were “transported to Salem,” according to the log.

Carlos Patrone, 22, of 75 Union St., Methuen, was arrested at 2:06 a.m. on Rantoul Street on charges of drunken driving, possessing an ounce of marijuana, passing violations and marked lanes violations. Responding were Patrolmen Timothy Mezza and Michael Henebury.

With help from OnStar, officers recovered a vehicle stolen in Lynnfield. It was found on Lovett Street, as logged at 9:21 a.m. “No damage done to vehicle,” according to the log, “Keys not in vehicle.”

When the son turned up drunk on Cedar Street, the father told police he didn’t want him there. But he changed his mind, according to the log at 3:54 p.m., “as long as he goes to bed.”

A woman reported her pocketbook stolen at the Cummings Center, as logged at 6:21 p.m.

There was no forced entry, police said, but $1,000 worth of electronics was missing from a house on Shore Drive, including PlayStation games, as logged at 2:18 p.m.

A broken car window on Fulton Street translated into a stolen purse, according to the log at 3:04 p.m.

An ambulance was sent following a three-car accident on Route 1 at Lowell Street, reported at 4:43 p.m.

Luis Santos, 35, of 604 Essex St., Lynn, was arrested at 4:54 p.m. at the Northshore Mall J.C. Penney on a charge of shoplifting. He was convicted twice before on the same charge, police said.

The loss of a $3,000 engagement ring was blamed on a past break-in on Osborne Street, according to the log at 5:04 p.m.

One-car accidents happen all the time, but the car also getting “lodged on a pile of wood chips,” according to the log at 7:43 p.m., does not.
