A man reported finding an iPod and cellphone in the Charter Street cemetery at 12:30 p.m.
A Winter Street woman reported at 2 p.m. that she was “nervous and upset” after receiving a text message saying “I love you” from her former driver. The woman reported that she never had a relationship with the driver, but that she would sometimes receive “random texts from him asking how she was doing.” An officer tried to contact the man but was unable.
Police received a 3:53 p.m. report of two youths bullying another youth at 29 Highland Ave.
Police and the Fire Department responded to a 3:42 a.m. report of heavy smoke in the area of Sohier Road and Charles Street, but were unable to locate any problems.
Police dispersed a group of people from McDonald’s after a 6:41 p.m. report of cars with loud mufflers.
Threats from an ex-employee at Citizens Bank were reported at 9:43 a.m.
Police responded to a 1:42 p.m. report of shoplifting at Walmart and arrested Deborah Annese, 43, of 2 Westview Circle, Peabody, on a charge of shoplifting.
At 9:49 a.m., a Washington Street man brought a blue bike to police, saying it had been in his backyard “for a year.”
An Atlantic Avenue woman reported at 5:50 p.m. that a door she had locked at 8 a.m. was open when she returned home. Police checked the house but didn’t report finding anything suspicious.
