Thursday

A woman came in to the police station at 5:20 p.m. to report that her car was scraped by another car as she exited the Saltonstall School parking lot to Flint Street. The woman said the driver of the other car left the scene, but her son was able to snap a photo of the car’s license plate. Police tracked down the driver, whose father agreed to pay the damages.

Theresa McLaughlin, 48, of 255 Jefferson Ave., was arrested at 4:16 p.m. at Market Basket on Highland Avenue on a charge of shoplifting (third offense) and violating a trespass order.

Michael McCausland, 34, of 56 Margin St., and Melissa A. Cresta, 33, of 56 Margin St., were arrested at 8:51 p.m. on charges of shoplifting merchandise worth more than $100 from the Walgreen’s store on New Derby Street. McCausland was also charged with wanton destruction of property worth less than $100.

Friday

Police went to Station Road at 6:04 a.m. on a report of a 2010 Honda up on cinder blocks and missing its rims and tires.

Karina Camacho, 29, of 84 Highland Ave., and Cesar Rodriguez, 35, of 84 Highland Ave., were arrested at 10:29 a.m. in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 28 at their apartment. She was arrested on a warrant charging her with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (a leather belt), and he was arrested on a charge of two counts of domestic assault and battery.

At 1:17 p.m., a maintenance worker at Salem Heights, 12 Pope St., found a wallet in a hallway belonging to a John Kennedy.

Thursday

Police and an ambulance crew went to Giddings Avenue at 4:42 p.m. on a report of an out-of-control son putting his hand through a window.

Danvers

Thursday

Tina White, 47, of 179 Boston St., Salem, was arrested at 8:59 p.m. at the Dollar Tree Store on Independence Way on charges of larceny of merchandise worth more than $250, and two counts of shoplifting.
